Video Editor

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting. As a Video Editor, you will bring sight and sound together to tell a cohesive story.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished video content for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, websites, commercials).
• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film.
• Input music, graphics, dialogues, and effects.
• Review and organize raw video footage, ensuring quality control.
• Collaborate closely with producers, content creators, and marketing teams.
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and storytelling goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven work experience as a video editor.
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
• Creative mind and storytelling skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Degree in film studies, cinematography, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Motion graphics and animation skills.
• Experience in color correction and sound design.
• Familiarity with photography and camera equipment.
