Job description

Job Purpose

Manage delivery of a specific project stream, while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, quality, health, safety and sustainability standards.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Support line manager by managing a project stream and ensure completion as per the budget, schedule and quality standards and all contractual requirements are met
  • Handle day to day operation of a project and provide guidance to the management of all contractors and consultants related to the project
  • Coordinate activities of PMC, monitor performance, hold periodic meetings and schedule periodic on-site visits to verify status in accordance with Senior Project Manager
  • Review, expand and refine project stream’s initial high-level plan and budget developed by Planning & Control and review against project schedule and budget developed by PMC
  • Provide required input to the Controls function to track project progress and generate reports
  • Liaise with Project Procurement to ensure that all contracts required to complete the project stream are in place and provide input on project scoping effort
  • Support Senior Project Manager in identifying budget and schedule deviations, issues and risks, assess impact and defining action plans in coordination with Planning & Control
  • Coordinate with Development to assess and address design issues (i.e. change orders)
  • Coordinate with Contractors and monitoring their performance.
  • Follow-up with Government Relations/PMC to obtain required permits and licenses
  • Review and comment on all change orders, and recommend payments
  • Support SPM on constructability issues and liaise with relevant parties to address them
  • Perform final handover to asset operator
  • Ensure project abides by HSSE policies and guidelines
  • Ensure project is being administered correctly by the PMC
  • Oversee value engineering proposals and ensure external stakeholder requirements are not compromised and that external stakeholders agree V.E. proposals before they are adopted
  • Suggest and implement modifications to project scope, deliverables, timelines and resources.
  • Perform project close out and obtain stakeholders approvals


Qualification And Experience

RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:

  • Min of 12+ years of experience in call center management, with a successful track record of - overseeing onshore and offshore operations.
  • Strong background in digital strategy and customer experience enhancement, ideally in collaboration with digital teams.
  • Expertise in process optimization, automation, AI, and other digital tools to enhance customer engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Change management expertise with a history of successfully leading teams through organizational shifts.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data to inform decisions.
  • Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences and an interest in keeping abreast of industry trends.


Related Years Of Experience

Min of 10+ years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years in senior project oversight position

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Min of 2+ years in a related managerial position

Field Of Experience

  • Proven experience of managing construction for developments with CAPEX >1billion AED.
  • Knowledge and exposure to the GCC real estate market
  • Proven expertise in contractor management


Technical And Interpersonal Skills

  • HSE champion with a proven track record
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Full understanding of construction industry and all related technical components
  • Identify risks by implementing Risk management plan in terms of quantifying risk, managing and monitor/mitigate risks issues
  • Ability in implementing and monitoring QA/QC
  • Capable of managing project timelines, costs, and prioritize projects tasks.
  • Ability to implement project plans to execute project deliverables and monitor/control the same.
  • Ability to manage contractors
  • Strong conflict resolution and management skills for resolving conflicts on the field


QUALIFICATION

Bachelor degree in civil engineering, architecture, or equivalent

MBA, PMP or technical post-graduate degree is preferred
