Qualifications

Job description

Charterhouse are working with an established Real Estate company that has been operating in the UAE for over a decade. They have a big presence in their field and have strong brand name and reputation. They are on the lookout for a Vice President IT who is a UAE National.

About the role

The Vice President of IT will liaise with multiple departments across the business and report into the Chief of Operations. This role will be looked upon as the IT specialist with the focus on using and promoting the best technology and practices within the organisation.

The Vice President of IT will sit within the senior leadership team and will be involved in meetings to develop and implement IT strategy across the business allowing the company to achieve its goals. Being the IT specialist, this role will have a team that will be required to be mentored allowing for the best results to be achieved.

About you

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, computer science or related field and have a minimum of 12+ years of experience in an IT role or similar field. It will be a bonus if the candidate has worked within real estate previously but not essential.

Having over a decade of experience in the IT industry, our client requires the candidate to have exposure to multiple areas including IT Infrastructure, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, Software, Digital Transformation, Automation, Enterprise Systems or related sectors.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and have strong negotiation skills. To be successful in this Vice President IT role, the successful candidate will need to be organised and have the ability to get their point across effectively.
