HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) is a financing-focused business that provides investment and financial solutions in emerging markets. We connect emerging and mature markets through our international network, covering key growth areas. We partner with corporate, government, and institutional clients to help them achieve long-term performance. Our products and services include advisory, financing, prime services, research, securities services, trading, sales, and transaction banking.

We are seeking an ambitious professional to join our Institutional Client Group as a VP, acting as a Global Relationship Banker responsible for managing global and regional clients and developing profitable long-term relationships within the Institutional Clients Group (ICG) in MENAT.

In this role, you will:

  1. Work with diverse client segments, including Investors (Hedge funds, private equity firms, financial sponsors) and FinTechs, to grow existing and new relationships across regions.
  2. Originate and execute business across CIB’s product spectrum, including Global Markets, Global Trade Solutions, Global Payments Solutions, and Securities Services.
  3. Enhance HSBC’s Corporate and Institutional Banking reputation in the marketplace.
  4. Drive revenue, product alignment, customer satisfaction, and cost management as a Global/Regional Relationship Banker.
  5. Develop client relationship management skills with strong risk assessment to ensure credit quality and appropriate returns.
  6. Support growth in HSBC’s share of client wallet by coordinating with product specialists to meet client/sector needs.
  7. Ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations, and procedures.
  8. Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely responses to audit and regulatory issues.
  9. Perform activities aligned with business objectives to support Global Banking growth.
  10. Understand client needs holistically and deliver innovative, high-value solutions across product lines for sustainable business returns.
