Job summary

Rakbank is seeking a senior strategy professional to help shape and execute the bank's enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives in the UAE. You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate priorities into concrete plans and measurable outcomes, conduct market and industry analyses, and evaluate corporate development opportunities.

You will build robust financial models, lead due diligence, and coordinate multi-functional workstreams across diverse teams, presenting to the Board

Qualifications

  • 7-12 years of experience in Strategy, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Strategy Consulting, Private Equity, or related field.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to solve complex business challenges.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related discipline.
  • MBA, CFA, or other relevant postgraduate qualifications are highly desirable.

  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, investments, and other corporate development opportunities.
  • Build financial models, valuation analyses, business cases, and investment recommendations.
  • Coordinate due diligence and cross-functional workstreams across business, finance, risk, legal, compliance, and technology teams.
  • Prepare Board, Executive Committee, and senior leadership presentations and strategy papers.
  • Monitor strategic initiatives, track progress, identify risks, and provide recommendations for successful execution.
