Job summary

DISCOVERED is seeking a senior technology leader to own the systems and platforms supporting a complex financial and investment environment in Abu Dhabi. The role covers technology across Finance, Treasury, Tax and Investment functions, including ERP, EPM, treasury platforms and portfolio analytics.

You'll guide the technology roadmap, ensure security, reliability and scalability, and partner with senior stakeholders to align priorities with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in enterprise technology, including senior leadership.
• Experience in investment firms or complex financial organisations.
• Strong ERP, EPM, and Treasury Management Systems knowledge.
• Exposure to market data platforms and private equity/venture analytics.
• Experience managing enterprise software vendors and contracts.
• Understanding IT governance, security and regulatory requirements in financial environments.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Finance or related field.
• PMP, ITIL or ERP certifications are beneficial.

We’re looking for a senior technology leader to take ownership of the systems and platforms supporting a complex financial and investment environment.

This is a strategic leadership role covering technology across Finance, Treasury, Tax and Investment functions, including financial ERP systems, EPM, treasury platforms, market intelligence tools and private equity and venture investment analytics.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to understand their priorities, shape the technology roadmap and make sure the platforms supporting these functions are secure, reliable and able to scale.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years' experience in enterprise technology, including significant experience in a senior leadership position.

• A background within an investment firm, sovereign wealth fund, corporate treasury environment, financial institution or similarly complex organisation would be highly relevant.

• Strong experience across enterprise financial technology, including ERP, EPM and Treasury Management Systems.

• Exposure to market data platforms, investment systems or private equity / venture portfolio technology would be an advantage.

• Strong experience managing enterprise software vendors, commercial agreements and technology partners.

• Good understanding of IT service management, governance, security and regulatory requirements within a financial environment.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.

• PMP, ITIL or relevant ERP certifications would be beneficial.
