Vice President – Finance Business Partner (Treasury and Wholesale Banking)

What You Will Be Doing:
As the Vice President - Finance Business Partner for Treasury and Wholesale Banking, you will act as a trusted financial advisor to senior management, driving financial performance and strategic alignment. You will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the division by offering insights, recommendations, and hands-on support across reporting, planning, and analysis.
- Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support key decisions for Treasury and Wholesale Banking.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
- Manage monthly accounting and reporting for Wholesale Banking, including preparation of analytical commentary.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports (P&L statements, balance sheets, cash flow) and present actionable insights.
- Partner with business and product teams to provide financial expertise for business planning and budgeting.
- Monitor key financial metrics, including RORAC/RAROC and client profitability, and highlight areas for improvement.
- Build detailed financial models to assess business scenarios and guide decision-making.
- Ensure all financial activities comply with internal policies and external regulations through continuous review.
- Collaborate with IT and relevant teams to oversee smooth implementation of financial systems and tools.
- Act as the point of contact for external auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders during audits and reviews.
- Align financial planning and reporting for Wholesale Banking with overall bank strategy and performance goals.
- Support new product launches by providing financial viability assessments and performance reviews.
- Track, assess, and report the financial performance of Wholesale Banking segments and products, including conducting deep dives where necessary.
- Contribute to the preparation of management reporting packs including GMC packs, Wholesale Business Reviews, daily MIS reports, and FX/derivative data.
- Track and report on non-financial KPIs relevant to Wholesale Banking.

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial insights clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- CMA, CPA, or CFA certifications (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years in a finance business partnering role within banking or financial services, ideally focusing on Treasury and Wholesale Banking.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, reporting, modeling, and forecasting.
- Skilled in financial systems (ERP), Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
