Overview
Vice President Finance. Industry Preference: Financial Services / Fintech. The Vice President (VP) of Finance is a key executive team member responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This role involves overseeing financial planning and strategy, analysis of financial strengths and weaknesses, and the proposal of corrective actions. The VP of Finance will work closely with other executive management to steer the company towards profitability and success, ensuring compliance with ADGM’s regulatory and financial reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Strategy and Leadership: Lead the company\'s financial strategy, including long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the company\'s strategic plan.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with ADGM regulations and standards, including financial reporting, tax filings, and any other regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks, including developing strategies to mitigate these risks.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee all financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes. Provide accurate and timely financial information and analysis to support decision-making.
- Investor Relations: Manage relationships with investors and other financial partners, ensuring transparent communication regarding financial performance and prospects.
- Treasury Management: Oversee cash flow, investment, and asset management.
- Operational Efficiency: Implement policies and procedures to improve financial and operational efficiency across the company.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing finance team capable of meeting the demands of a rapidly evolving fintech landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is a must.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position within the fintech industry or a related financial sector.
- Strong understanding of ADGM regulations, financial reporting, budget management, and financial analysis.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
