A leading UAE-based entity is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President – Finance to lead and execute the organization’s financial strategy. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for overseeing budgeting, financial planning and reporting, treasury operations, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting executive decisions, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring sustainable financial performance in a regulated and high-compliance environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead the formulation and execution of long-term financial strategies aligned with corporate objectives. • Direct annual budgeting, long-term forecasting, and financial performance reporting to senior leadership. • Manage treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, and investment strategies to optimize capital usage. • Ensure full compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory frameworks. • Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks including market, credit, and operational risks. • Implement robust financial systems and technologies for improved reporting and control. • Build and lead a high-performing finance team through effective mentoring, training, and succession planning. • Drive cost efficiency, innovation, and financial governance across all units. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic plans and operational KPIs.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • Master’s degree is preferred. • 12–16 years of experience (with a Bachelor’s) or 8–10 years (with a Master’s) in financial management, accounting, or related disciplines. • Proven track record in executive financial leadership roles, ideally within complex, regulated, or government-linked organizations. • Fluent in English and Arabic (a plus but not necessary).
