Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity for the role of Vice President of Employee Services Experience, reporting directly to the SVP of HR Operations & Systems. As the successful candidate, your primary responsibilities will include driving and leading the development and delivery of HR services and products that support the overall employee experience. This includes defining the employee service strategy and framework and leading a large team to ensure the agreed HR service objectives are achieved. This role places a strong emphasis on maintaining relationships with internal and external service providers to ensure operational excellence.

What you will do :

  • Shape, design and ensure HR Services strategy is implemented to provide effective HR services to meet the current and future needs of the entire Emirates group. Ensure the strategy is aligned with the overall HR strategy and is kept up-to-date with emerging trends and HR disciplines.
  • Create and lead a service culture and attitude within the team that focuses on hospitality providing quality service that enhances employee experience.
  • Create, leverage and improvise the employee Services approach by bringing in multiple service providers through a single front-office, Employee Service Centre (ESC) and extend the one-stop-shop approach by integrating other services into ESC to drive process improvements and service delivery.
  • Oversee daily HR operations from onboarding up to offboarding whilst ensuring alignment with inter HR processes and policies. Monitor HR metrics and benchmark data to drive continuous improvement focusing on efficiency, accuracy and employee satisfaction.
  • Identify "simplify, standardise and automate" projects to streamline cross-functional processes that are integrated with HR Sections in collaboration with the wider HR Centre of excellence. Evaluate and implement emerging best practices and employee experience driven process improvements.
  • Ensure processes are integrated and service level agreements (SLAs) are in place with internal service providers to ensure a timely delivery of services.
  • Manage internal and external relationships to deliver on employee requirements group wide. Ensure protocols and processes are established to handle staff related special and emergency cases with various local authorities and government entities, such as Police, CID and Courts. Research, influence, and create innovative integration projects with Dubai eGovernment initiative to cut costs and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with HR Technology team to define the HR vision for global system requirements and related integration across business functions. Ensure systems related to HR processes are not duplicated by other departments and influence the organisation to adopt corporate systems to increase ROI.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large HR team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

This job might be for you if you have :

Qualifications :

  • Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent): Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) is preferred.

Experience :

  • Human Resources, HR Information Systems 12+ Years
  • Experience in senior management role leading large team.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR strategies for large, diverse organisations.
  • Experience in an operational HR function with at least 6 years in a senior leadership role.
  • This should ideally include expertise in system and shared service environment.
