Job description

JOB PURPOSE
Support Development in identifying initiatives to enhance and improve Aldar's current information management lifecycle. Develop and implement an Aldar Development BIM roadmap in collaboration with development key stakeholders, departments, and industry leaders.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Implement and own the Aldar Organizational Information Requirements as defined within ISO standards.
2. Define project-specific Project Information Requirements to drive the formation of Exchange Information Requirements for Aldar Projects.
3. Identify, manage, and own BIM-related risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies; drive solutions for swift closure.
4. Manage Aldar BIM benefits management framework, demonstrating tangible value addition through BIM implementation.
5. Collaborate with procurement, asset management, and supply chain to develop and integrate a digital product asset library.
6. Establish a digital asset and product definition based on BS and BS EN standards throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Work with stakeholders to define and implement Asset Information Requirements and data definition documents.
8. Coordinate with Group Digital Services to identify software and hardware needs for BIM.
9. Define and establish the information management lifecycle in accordance with ISO and industry standards.
10. Support HR in BIM learning and talent development initiatives.
11. Maintain awareness of BIM trends, innovations, and standards; demonstrate thought leadership.
12. Conduct assurance and audit activities to ensure compliance with BIM standards and procedures.
13. Champion digital innovation and transformation within Development.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 10 years in Digital Design Management within large-scale real estate development.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience with DFMA, MMC, and delivery of related change programs.
• Experience managing design teams and BIM modelers.
• Knowledgeable in sustainability, safety principles, and data ecosystems.
• Experience with BIM implementation across design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Strong technical writing skills and knowledge of design and project management software.
• Understanding of standards like BS, PAS, ISO, COBie, NRM, and others.
• Excellent communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Technologies or equivalent.
