The VP Digital and Innovation will play a pivotal role in driving revenue generation and cost optimization initiatives across Arcera. This individual will lead cross-functional teams on key projects aimed at advancing our mission and achieving our strategic objectives. This role will play a critical part in the identification and implementation of opportunities to deliver value creation, driving sustainable growth, and maximizing profitability. This position requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in innovation, data strategy, digital transformation, and AI.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital and Innovation:
- Design the Digital, Data Management and AI Strategy across Arcera Group.
- Steer the Innovation agenda at group level, deliver the yearly reviews and ensure execution.
- Connect with the ExCom and the Investors’ Digital Center of Excellence to build and articulate the digital strategy and roadmap in conjunction with the business strategy and vision.
- Working with business teams across functions and regions to articulate their digital priorities and establish their roadmap in line with the digital strategy.
- Define and drive initiatives to bring innovation in the organization.
- Design, lead and monitor the implementation of strategic & transformative digital initiatives.
- Provide expertise and tools to support the leadership teams in structuring and managing the digital initiatives – for initiatives run by the functions/regions.
- Drive change management in IT and functional teams to ensure tangible long-term impact for the projects run.
2. Value Creation:
- Lead the identification, prioritization and execution of value creation digital initiatives for the Group to strengthen its market position and financial performance.
- Lead development of project plans, timelines, and budgets, providing support and challenge to ensure robustness.
- Drive value creation projects from inception to completion.
- Build and bring together cross-function teams as required to deliver on initiatives including but not limited to Operations, Procurement, Sales and Marketing, Finance and Legal.
- Develop and implement effective program management and governance.
- Supports the M&A and Business Development teams in identifying digitalization opportunities in potential target companies, assess potential value and recommends on integration strategies.
- Drives global company digital transformation initiatives from inception to completion
- Partner with Finance to ensure initiatives are underpinned by robust financial and commercial analysis.
- Prepare executive-friendly and high-quality presentations to support decision making.
- Ensure initiatives align to the overall Arcera strategy.
3. Global Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders globally to align project objectives with overall business goals.
- Foster strong working relationships with internal teams, including but not limited to Operations, Procurement, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
4. External Contract Negotiations:
- Support contract negotiations with key external stakeholders on value creation projects such as suppliers, strategic partners, and service providers in alignment with legal and compliance guidelines.
- Ensure that contracts and agreements are structured to maximize value and mitigate risks for Arcera.
- Develop recommendations on contracts and agreements for decision by CVCO.
5. Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams, ensuring clarity of goals, roles, and responsibilities.
- Coach and develop team members to enhance their project management skills and contribute to organizational success.
6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Develop and monitor project performance against KPIs and milestones, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare regular progress reports, presentations, recommendations and updates for senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience
- 7-10 of experience. Focus on leading transformational digital projects in international environments with different levels of complexity.
- A wealth of experience in different domains ranging from management consulting to technology solution providers.
- Strong understanding of global regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and industry best practices.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and driving revenue growth initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
