About the Role:
The Compliance Chapter Lead will report directly to the Head of Compliance and collaborate closely with Legal, IT, Risk, and Product teams. This role is based in the UAE and is pivotal in leading the compliance chapter, ensuring regulatory adherence, and driving the implementation of compliance technology solutions across the organization.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and manage the compliance chapter, overseeing initiatives and ensuring alignment with UAE regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement technology-driven compliance solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address compliance requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies.
- Monitor regulatory changes and integrate industry best practices.
- Provide training and support on compliance tools and processes.
- Foster continuous development of chapter members through capability building and knowledge sharing.
- Administer chapter operations and manage performance assessments.
- Maintain robust compliance monitoring and reporting systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related domain.
- Industry Exposure: Strong familiarity with UAE regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in compliance software, data analysis, and IT infrastructure relevant to regulatory adherence.
- Leadership: Proven experience in team management, strategic planning, and project execution.
