The Vibration Engineer (Reciprocating Machinery) role within the Wood Asset Life Optimization (ALO) group involves delivering vibration, dynamics, and noise engineering consultancy services to internal and external clients. The position is primarily based in Wood offices, with on-site support required both onshore and offshore.
Key responsibilities include supporting machinery analysis, troubleshooting, static equipment and structures, and assisting in the development of vibration engineering deliverables based on industry standards such as API618 and API674. The role also involves supporting field measurement campaigns, solving routine problems, and collaborating with experienced professionals on complex issues.
Ideal candidates will have over five years of relevant experience, demonstrate technical expertise in reciprocating machinery and vibration analysis, and possess knowledge of industry standards and simulation tools. A proactive approach to safety, quality, and client service is essential.
