Vibration Engineer
We are seeking a qualified Vibration Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing vibration engineering deliverables, performing conventional engineering tasks, and supporting vibration studies across various project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce basic vibration engineering deliverables such as philosophies, reports, specifications, and data sheets.
- Perform conventional engineering tasks aligned with vibration discipline practices, procedures, and programs.
- Solve problems using standard methods with minor innovations, focusing on problems with limited variables.
- Collect data and gather information from multiple sources for vibration studies.
- Complete piping vibration screening assessments based on Energy Institute guidelines.
- Support field measurement campaigns for vibration troubleshooting of piping concerns.
- Represent the vibration, dynamics, and noise discipline on contracts, projects, or service lines.
- Support vibration studies during FEED, EPC, and operational phases.
- Promote innovation and new practices to improve performance.
Interpersonal Skills
- Willingness to work onsite, including 12-hour shifts up to 21 days offshore globally.
- Ability to present project results and group competencies effectively.
- Commitment to developing technical services, procedures, and tools.
- Leadership skills within small teams, including motivation, communication, and technical delivery.
- Understanding of roles within the team for effective coverage.
- Engagement in business growth and development, including client relationships and scope expansion.

Qualifications
- Experience in the offshore/onshore oil and gas industry.
- Technical expertise in machinery, static equipment, and structures vibration.
- Proficiency in vibration measurements and equipment.
- Knowledge of excitation sources and data collection related to project goals.
- Familiarity with Energy Institute Guidelines and simulation packages like ANSYS, CFD, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Level 6) or Master’s (Level 7), with relevant industry experience.
- Chartership or professional engineer status preferred.
- Continuous professional development demonstrated through CPD records.
