Job summary

Your Care Jobs Ltd in Dubai is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join a growing clinical team. The role covers triage, consultations, diagnostics, theatre and recovery, with emphasis on anaesthesia, inpatient care and ongoing client education.

You will contribute to nurse-led clinics for wellness, nutrition, weight management, dental and post-operative care, while upholding high standards of infection control and patient welfare.

Qualifications

• Recognised veterinary nursing qualification.
• Eligibility to practise as a Veterinary Nurse in the UAE.
• Strong clinical experience across anaesthesia, theatre and inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Support the veterinary team across triage, consultations, diagnostics, theatre and recovery.
• Monitor patients during anaesthesia and assist with surgical procedures.
• Provide high-quality inpatient and hospital care.
• Support routine consultations and preventative healthcare.
• Run nurse-led clinics covering wellness, nutrition, weight management, dental and post-operative care.
• Educate pet owners on preventative healthcare and ongoing patient needs.
• Provide calm and compassionate support to nervous or distressed animals.
• Support continuity of care through follow-up and personalised care plans.
• Maintain high standards of infection control, biosecurity and clinical hygiene.
• Manage clinical stock and help maintain an efficient and well-organised practice.

Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join their growing team in Dubai.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Veterinary Nurse who enjoys being hands‑on across all areas of clinical practice and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

You will play an important role throughout the patient journey, from consultations and preventative healthcare through to theatre, recovery and inpatient care. The role also provides the opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to nurse‑led services.

The Role

• Supporting the veterinary team across triage, consultations, diagnostics, theatre and recovery
• Monitoring patients during anaesthesia and assisting with surgical procedures
• Providing high-quality inpatient and hospital care
• Supporting routine consultations and preventative healthcare
• Running nurse‑led clinics covering wellness, nutrition, weight management, dental and post‑operative care
• Educating pet owners on preventative healthcare and ongoing patient needs
• Providing calm and compassionate support to nervous or distressed animals
• Supporting continuity of care through follow‑up and personalised care plans
• Maintaining high standards of animal husbandry and patient welfare
• Ensuring strong standards of infection control, biosecurity and clinical hygiene
• Managing clinical stock and helping maintain an efficient and well‑organised practice

About You

• A recognised veterinary nursing qualification
• Eligibility to practise as a Veterinary Nurse in the UAE
• Strong clinical experience across anaesthesia, theatre, diagnostics and inpatient care
• Confident patient‑handling and monitoring skills
• The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in a busy clinical environment
