Job summary

The Ark Animal Clinic in Dubai is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse/Technician who participates in high surgical, anaesthetic and patient-care standards. You will be a core part of the clinical team, monitoring anaesthesia, running theatre and caring for hospitalised patients alongside veterinarians.

Responsibilities include assisting in diagnostics and surgeries, preparing theatre, maintaining records, and communicating care instructions to owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on small animal clinical experience.
• Proven surgical assistance and anaesthesia monitoring skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Calm, organised and reliable in a fast-paced clinic.
• Professional presentation and a genuine team player.

The Role

As a Veterinary Nurse, you will support every stage of the patient journey, from consultation to full recovery. Your key responsibilities will include:

What We’re Looking For

• Veterinary degree (DVM / BVSc) or equivalent
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on small animal clinical experience
• Proven surgical assistance and anaesthesia monitoring skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Calm, organised and reliable in a fast‑paced clinic
• Professional presentation and a genuine team player

Highly regarded:

• Previous UAE clinic experience
• IV catheter placement, fluid therapy and blood sampling
• Experience with digital X‑ray and in‑house lab analysers
• Emergency or hospitalisation (ICU) experience
• Familiarity with practice‑management software (e.g. ezyVet)
