Job summary

Amazon in Dubai is seeking an Associate Vendor Manager within the Retail Vendor Recruitment team. You will recruit and onboard new vendors, manage onboarding, and build a strong vendor portfolio to enrich our UAE storefronts and expand into KSA.

You will engage with vendors, assess potential, and drive onboarding through to first units shipped, collaborating with retail teams to meet customer needs. The role requires strategic and hands-on execution, data-driven decision making, and strong

Qualifications

• 3 years of Excel experience.
• 5 years of retail operations, product, program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience.
• Bachelor's degree or 3 years of professional or military experience.
• Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
• Experience managing large data sets and utilizing data to drive performance and process improvements.
• Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, and promotion inventory management and product development.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospect and reach out to new vendors; analyze their potential for Amazon.
• Be a business consultant to new vendors; provide insights for different business profiles and sectors.
• Help vendors integrate their catalogue data into Amazon store master tools and train vendors on these tools.
• Be an ambassador of Amazon for vendors; develop knowledge of their needs and success drivers.
• Plan, conduct, deliver and report analyses to understand vendor performance.
• Help develop and improve recruiting and onboarding processes; assist in removing technical blockers.
