Role Title: Vendor Manager F&B

Reports to: Category Manager / Sr. Vendor Manager
Position OverviewThe Vendor Manager is responsible for managing vendor relationships, ensuring timely delivery of quality products and services, and negotiating contracts to secure the best terms for the company.
- Vendor Selection: Identify and select vendors aligned with company goals, sub-category expansion, and margin growth. Guide Junior Vendor Managers in building a pipeline of new vendors and onboard them effectively.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate favorable terms with vendors to maximize margin and rebate opportunities.
- Performance Monitoring: Assess vendor performance in terms of GMV and Gross Profit, ensuring compliance with company standards.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with vendors.
- Inventory Management: Ensure timely replenishment, healthy inventory levels, and effective management of aging stock.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve issues related to vendor performance, pricing, or delivery delays.
- Cost Management: Monitor and negotiate costs to ensure maximum Gross Profit.
- Team Leadership: Track the performance of Junior Vendor Managers, guiding them to grow professionally and assume increasing responsibilities.
Requirements- Hard Skills: Bachelor's degree in Vendor Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in vendor management or a similar role.
- Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid supplier base in the Food & Beverages industry, with strong brand connections. Strong planning, campaign management, and organizational skills.
