Job summary

Flip retail is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to provide complete support for safety programs and the company’s maintenance schedule. You will ensure PM programs A & B are executed on time, handle installations and repairs, and work to minimize wastage while using tools only as intended.

You will also address electrical and hydraulic repairs, maintain high safety standards, assist in engine and transmission work, and help organize the workshop.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair of light and heavy vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safety and quality programs and follow company procedures.
• Ensure PM programs A & B are performed on schedule.
• Perform installations/repairs and minimize wastage of parts.
• Assist in cleaning the workshop and organizing materials.
• Maintain tools and use them only for their intended purpose.
• Respond to road breakdowns for shipment vehicles and other units.
• Address electrical and hydraulic repairs as required.
• Uphold high safety standards and keep the workspace clean.
• Assist in major repairs such as engine work and transmission servicing.
• Report issues and propose fixes for new procedures or changes.
• Perform any other tasks as assigned.
