Job summary

SGS is seeking a capable operations professional to lead vehicle inspection centers and mobile units in the UAE. You will coordinate approvals, licensing, workflows, SOPs, and quality controls while ensuring service continuity and strong customer coordination.

You will manage resources, track KPIs, address non-conformities, and drive continuous improvement across inspection operations. English is required; Arabic is preferred for liaison with authorities and local stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Exposure to vehicle inspection, automotive diagnostics, workshop operations, quality, HSE or ISO/IEC 17020 preferred.
• Process-oriented, customer-focused and operationally strong profile with hands-on coordination capability.
• English communication required for reporting and coordination; Arabic speaking preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness and day-to-day service delivery for vehicle inspection centres and mobile inspection units.
• Coordinate authority approvals, licensing readiness, inspection workflows, SOPs, quality controls and compliance requirements.
• Manage resource planning, customer coordination, vendor/workshop interface, issue resolution and service continuity.
• Track KPIs, turnaround time, inspection quality, corrective actions and continuous improvement across inspection operations.
• Strong operational planning, stakeholder management and customer service delivery capability.
