Our last-mile delivery partners are crucial to our service, and we work closely with them to ensure timely deliveries of all sizes. As a VAS Specialist, you'll ensure we maintain excellent relationships with our partners, build connections, help implement efficient processes, and resolve issues to foster long-term successful partnerships.

Key job responsibilities

We are seeking a Value Added Service (VAS) Manager responsible for ensuring our suite of value-added services—including legal services, insurance offers, and uniforms—meets the demands of both our internal Amazon teams and our Delivery Service Providers (DSPs). This individual will negotiate services on behalf of our partners, facilitate new service placements, and challenge the status quo to improve offerings.

Key functions for the role include:

• Create and drive VAS concepts based on customer and market requirements to meet industry standards.
• Develop strong VAS partnerships and manage third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with in-country teams to develop and execute plans for new products or services, including merchandising and promotion strategies.
• Manage pilot projects to test new services and oversee the rollout of negotiated services nationwide, with continuous improvement.
• Understand product category seasonality, monitor customer feedback, and stay updated on vendor developments.

A day in the life

You will be based at one of our sites, allowing close oversight of the delivery process and visibility to guide our logistics partners. You will manage all aspects of partner relationships, from contracts to performance tracking. Clear communication is essential; you will maintain daily contact with partners to ensure they have what they need to deliver on time.

Minimum qualifications:

• Advanced SQL skills
• At least 3 years of experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
• At least 3 years of experience in product or program management or business development
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
• Experience driving roadmap strategy and implementation across stakeholders
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders
• Effective email and communication skills
• Intermediate Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong writing, influencing, and argument structuring skills for brief, clear, and complete communication
