JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

Newmark’s Valuation & Advisory ("V&A") platform is a dominant, top-tier strategic valuation practice in The Americas. Having grown to over 65 offices and 550 employees, V&A is now entering the Middle East market, concurrently with Newmark's wider global expansion strategy. V&A is recruiting trusted and recognised industry experts, at various career levels, supported by continued enhancement of its proprietary technology product suite.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Support a range of clients by providing high quality real estate development advice
• Undertake the execution of feasibility studies, highest & best use studies and business planning for all types of real estate assets / developments for various financial institutions, government agencies and corporate clients
• Independently carry out property inspections and relevant data sourcing
• Supervise and mentor team members where appropriate
• Take responsibility for business development and growing market share in key locations
• Provide guidance and coordinate junior team members in their task distribution (where required)

EDUCATION:

• Degree in real estate or equivalent
• Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)

EXPERIENCE:

• 5-15 years of relevant experience
• Strong track record in delivering real estate advisory work
• Experience in anticipating the demands of lenders, operators, owners and tenants, and their support teams.

• Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills and ability to handle pressure
• Flexible and self-motivated with a real desire to support customers
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Meticulous and numerically competent
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team
• Positive approach and willing to learn with, and to develop, the team. We will support you with training and experience as you progress
• Solid understanding of real estate economics and commercial real estate terminology
