Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Van Sales cum Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. This role requires an individual who is excellent at multitasking and can manage both sales and merchandising functions effectively while traveling to different locations. As a Van Sales cum Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer relationships, maximizing sales through effective merchandising, and ensuring the visibility and accessibility of our products. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, managing inventory levels, and implementing strategic merchandising plans. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to drive and sell our products with passion and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Drive to assigned routes to promote and sell product offerings to customers.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Execute scheduled promotional activities to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Monitor inventory levels and restock merchandise to prevent product shortages.
- Analyze sales trends to optimize stock levels and maximize sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with store managers to strategize placement of product displays.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Record and report sales figures, inventory levels, and market feedback daily.
- Negotiate shelf space and promotional displays with store managers and owners.
- Identify new sales leads and expand the customer base with proactive outreach.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and cleanliness to uphold company image and safety.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and market trends to effectively pitch to customers.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is essential for this role.
- Proven experience in sales, merchandising, or a related field is required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Ability to work independently with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Flexibility to work various hours and travel to different locations as needed.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy merchandise and equipment regularly.
