Role Overview:
We are looking for a Head of Operations to lead and scale all aspects of our e-commerce operations. Based in Dubai and reporting directly to the COO, this role will oversee warehousing, fulfillment, sourcing, replenishment, logistics, and third-party operations. The ideal candidate is deeply data-driven, process-oriented, and has a proven track record of driving operational excellence in fast-paced e-commerce environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse & Fulfillment Operations:
Lead daily warehouse and fulfillment operations ensuring speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Track and improve key metrics such as order accuracy, inventory turnover, and fulfillment time.
Implement SOPs and automation tools to enhance warehouse performance.
Sourcing & Replenishment:
Manage inventory planning, procurement, and supplier relationships.
Ensure timely replenishment and minimize stockouts or overstock scenarios.
Collaborate with merchandising and growth teams to align on inventory strategy.
Logistics & 3PL Management:
Oversee third-party logistics partners, ensuring SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
Use technology to track delivery performance and continuously reduce costs and delays.
Negotiate and manage logistics contracts and service agreements.
Process Improvement & Tech Integration:
Identify operational bottlenecks and introduce scalable, tech-enabled solutions.
Work with tech/product teams to streamline workflows and integrate tools like ERP/WMS.
Build dashboards and reporting systems to enable data-driven decision-making.
Team Leadership:
Build and manage a strong operations team across warehouse, sourcing, and logistics.
Set team goals, establish KPIs, and create a culture of performance and accountability.
Collaborate across functions to support company growth and operational readiness.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a high-growth e-commerce company, preferably in a leadership role.
Deep knowledge of warehousing, fulfillment, inventory planning, and last-mile logistics.
Demonstrated ability to implement operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
Hands-on experience with 3PLs and operations tech tools (ERP, WMS, etc.).
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in D2C or marketplace e-commerce models.
Familiarity with systems like Unicommerce, or Zoho.
Proven success in scaling operations and implementing automation.
