Job description

MAIN PURPOSE

As a V.I.E - Fragrances Product Manager within the Regional Marketing Team for the Middle East, India, Africa & Turkey (MEIAT) Region, you will support the Marketing Manager in developing and implementing the regional perfume marketing strategy. You will be responsible for the 360° coordination of Fragrances, piloting new product launches in the region, and closely monitoring the competitive MEIAT landscape. You will provide key support to local market, commercial, and communication teams, ensuring seamless communication between HQ and local markets.

This V.I.E assignment is a 12-month contract based in Dubai, with an ideal start date in November 2025, contingent on visa requirements.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

  • SUPPORT THE MARKETING STRATEGY DEFINITION FOR THE MEIAT REGION:


    • Participate in defining the regional product strategic plan, including market analysis, activity analysis, budget proposals, and action plans to achieve targeted budgets.
    • Collaborate with Communication, Client, Commercial, and Visual Merchandising teams to define cohesive action plans for key strategic focuses.
    • Ensure the smooth implementation and 360° coordination of action plans for the category with all stakeholders.
    • Develop and track sales budgets by line, market, and retailer, translating overall strategic and marketing communication plans into market-specific strategies.
    • Prepare monthly and yearly reports and analyses, and monitor product performance.


  • LAUNCH NEW PRODUCTS AND BUILD STRONG 360° ACTIVATIONS:


    • Define, pilot, and orchestrate 360° launch plans, coordinating implementation across all departments and markets.
    • Work closely with Supply and Commercial teams on new product forecasting and stock levels.
    • Develop 360° strategies for each main activation, including launch timing, retailer strategy (pre-launch/exclusivities), distribution, communication (media/PR/event & trade), visual merchandising, and client experience.
    • Monitor the performance of each launch and propose action plans accordingly.
    • Create detailed launch reports/newsletters with key results and actions.
    • Co-develop MEIAT-exclusive offers with HQ and brief HQ on specific product development needs for the region.
    • Develop sales support tools (product tools, mapping, etc.).
    • Develop specific training tools with the Learning & Development department.
    • Train and support Commercial, Retail, and Wholesale teams on new products.


  • LEAD THE FRAGRANCES CATEGORY AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY IN ALL MEIAT MARKETS:


    • Support the commercial team in their commercial partnerships (marketing plan by retailer, strategic meetings).
    • Define sales forecasts and assortments in collaboration with HQ, Supply Chain, Commercial teams, and the markets.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Manager on the Fragrances media, PR, and events plan.
    • Foster collaboration with each market and engage the community by disseminating fragrance knowledge and developing category performance (VM, Marketing, Clients, e-com, Retail, etc.).
    • Support client activations, event masterclasses, and treatment sessions.
    • Develop category-wide sales support tools (product sheets, training materials, mapping, etc.).
    • Develop category-wide training tools with the Learning & Development department.
    • Train and support Commercial, Retail, and Wholesale teams on product knowledge.


  • PILOT COMPETITION & MARKET ENVIRONMENT:


    • Serve as the category and regional expert by closely monitoring the competition, market trends, and client data, and proposing action plans accordingly.
    • Capture and report market insights (economy, demographics, technology).
    • Plan regular visits to key markets.
    • Identify product and branding opportunities and create dedicated reports for HQ.
    • Identify key/relevant competitors; understand their strategy (product offer, distribution strategy, price positioning, communication strategy, etc.) and share regular updates.


  • SUPPORT SPECIFIC STRATEGIC PROJECTS & TRANSVERSAL TASK FORCES:


    • Serve as the E-commerce lead, working with internal E-commerce teams to ensure proper and updated representation, and with external partners to launch, maintain, and animate E-retailer & pure player websites.
    • Serve as the CRM lead internally to ensure key launches and moments are properly communicated.
    • Lead the sampling and Gift With Purchase (GWP) strategy for the entire region based on priorities and share of business.
    • Lead client and VIP experience efforts to integrate the Fragrances category into all relevant Maison moments.

Education and Required Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or university certificate in Business, Marketing, or Communication.

  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Arabic and French are a plus.
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills - you are always on top of your tasks and ensure alignment across all parties.
