Job summary

Salt is seeking a UX/UI designer for a 6-month contract in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. You will drive user-centered design across mobile and web, conduct research, create wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver polished experiences.

You will perform user and competitor research, develop design system assets, ensure brand consistency, and lead usability tests to iterate on interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in UX research and user-centered design.
• Ability to translate user needs into intuitive interfaces.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Competitor research to understand trends and opportunities.
• User research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
• Wireframing for mobile-first design and web adaptability.
• Interaction design to define workflows and interactions.
• Create visual design assets including icons, micro‑animations and illustrations.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes with detailed development guidance.
• Lead usability testing for native and web apps and iterate based on feedback.
• Ensure brand alignment and design system consistency.
