Job summary

Salt is seeking a UX/UI designer for a 6-month contract in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi). The ideal candidate will bring experience in banking, user research, and end-to-end design from research through to high-fidelity prototypes.

Your role will involve competitor and user research, wireframing, interaction design, asset creation, and usability testing across mobile and web platforms, with a strong emphasis on bank-grade usability and brand consistency.

Qualifications

• Banking domain experience preferred.
• Experience in UX and UI design.
• Proficient in creating high-fidelity prototypes with Figma.

Responsibilities

• Competitor Research: analyze competitors to understand market trends and design opportunities.
• User Research: conduct surveys, interviews, and usability tests for mobile and web.
• Wireframing: develop low-fidelity wireframes with mobile-first focus.
• Interaction Design: design workflows, prototypes, and interactions for a seamless UX.
• Create creative design assets: craft icons, micro-animations, illustrations and visuals.
• Develop high-fidelity prototypes to communicate ideas and instructions.
• User Testing: lead usability tests for native and web apps and iterate on findings.
• Brand identity: align with brand principles and integrate design systems.

My client are looking for UX/UI designer for a 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will need experience with banking .

Responsibilities:

• Competitor Research Analyzes competitors’ products to understand market trends, user expectations, and common design patterns. Leverage this research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvements that align with business goals.


• User Research Perform user research through surveys, interviews, and usability testing across both mobile and web platforms. Gather insights on user behavior, needs, and pain points, which will inform your design approach.


• Wireframing Develop low-fidelity wireframes to outline user flows, concentrating on mobile-first design while ensuring adaptability to web platforms. Your wireframes will guide the product’s structure, navigation, and interaction patterns.


• Interaction Design Defining how users interact with a product. This includes designing workflows, prototypes, and interactions to ensure a seamless user experience.


• Create creative design assets that enhance the user experience. Use visual design skills and tools to engage iconography, micro-animations, video effects, illustrations, and more.


• Develop high-fidelity prototypes to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas and detailed development instructions.


• User Testing Lead usability testing for both native apps and web apps, using Figma prototypes or live products. Gather feedback and iterate on designs to continuously improve user satisfaction.
