Job summary

Brainlake in Dubai is seeking an experienced UX Designer with strong UI capability to work across complex digital products and services. The role is primarily UX-focused (80%), with some UI design (20%), and involves turning requirements into polished experiences and prototypes.

You will use AI-powered design tools to accelerate exploration while maintaining design thinking. You may work across apps, portals, websites, and AI-enabled digital experiences.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on UX design experience.
• Portfolio clearly UX-heavy showing user flows, information architecture, wireframes, interaction design, and problem-solving.
• Strong experience designing complex digital products, platforms, or services.
• Ability to turn ambiguous or complex requirements into simple, structured experiences.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, including Auto Layout, components, variables, prototyping, and design systems.
• Strong understanding of usability, accessibility, responsive design, and human-centered design principles.
• Good visual design fundamentals, including typography, hierarchy, spacing, and layout.
• Ability to produce high-quality UI when required, even though UI is not the primary focus of the role.
• Experience using AI-powered design tools to accelerate parts of the UX and UI workflow.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and deliver against deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, research findings, and user needs into clear UX solutions.
• Define user journeys, user flows, task flows, navigation structures, and information architecture.
• Create low- and high-fidelity wireframes across web, mobile, and responsive experiences.
• Design complex journeys involving multiple users, roles, steps, scenarios, and decision points.
• Define interaction patterns, behaviours, states, validations, and edge cases.
• Create interactive prototypes to communicate and validate experience concepts.
• Identify usability issues, friction points, and unnecessary complexity and propose better solutions.
• Work closely with researchers and service designers to translate insights into digital experiences.
• Collaborate with product, business, and technical teams to ensure solutions are practical and buildable.
• Present UX decisions and rationale clearly to clients and stakeholders.
• Produce polished UI designs when required, while maintaining consistency with the wider design system.
• Contribute to design systems, components, patterns, and reusable libraries.
• Use AI-powered design tools to accelerate UX exploration, wireframing, prototyping, interface generation, and repetitive design tasks.
• Experiment with new AI design workflows that can improve speed and quality.
