Job description


Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the planning, design, and integration of wet and dry utility systems, including water supply, wastewater, stormwater, irrigation, electrical, telecom, and gas networks.
• Coordinate with internal teams across civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines to ensure seamless delivery of utilities within overall project timelines.
• Oversee design reviews, ensuring technical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with project specifications and local authority standards.
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and public authorities to manage approvals, resolve design issues, and ensure clear communication across all stages of project execution.
• Supervise and mentor a team of utilities engineers and support staff, fostering technical excellence and professional development.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including reports, specifications, drawings, and calculations.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and support project managers in delivering high-quality outcomes on time and within budget.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in utility design and coordination, including recent experience in the Middle East
• Strong understanding of local utility authority requirements and approval processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and interfacing with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficient in relevant design and modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydraulic/electrical modeling tools).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
