Contract Administrator – Utilities
WSP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with construction consultants on utilities projects and a proven track record of over 12 years in contract management within the region. The Contract Administrator will be responsible for overseeing contract execution, ensuring compliance with contract terms, and managing contractual disputes and negotiations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts related to utilities projects.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update contract documentation and records.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize risk and resolve issues.
- Negotiation and Dispute Resolution:
- Lead negotiations with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Handle disputes and claims in a timely and effective manner.
- Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare regular reports on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with project managers, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth contract execution.
- Provide advice and guidance on contractual matters to project teams.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in contract administration, specifically within the utilities sector.
- Recent working experience in Abu Dhabi with a focus on construction consultancy.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale utilities projects.
