Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Commissioning to head the project Commissioning team, directing planning, development and operations to ensure commissioning execution.

You will champion safety on all construction aspects, promote the 'Nobody gets Hurt' objective, oversee contractor and subcontractor commissioning activities, establish a commissioning organization, and provide execution strategy support to the project team, integrating SIMOPS across island and brownfield work.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project Commissioning team to support the objectives and strategies
• Champion safety in all construction aspects of the project and promote the safety objective that “Nobody gets Hurt”
• Manage the project Module Fabrication on Commissioning teams responsible for the planning, development and operations to ensure commissioning execution
• Manage the Contractor’s commissioning planning and execution efforts to ensure compliance with project objectives, strategies, obligations and requirements
• Establish a commissioning organization to implement the project execution plans and procedures and coordinate resourcing of commissioning team positions
• Provide execution strategy support to the project Team
• Ensure that the Contractor and Subcontractors are compliant with project safety expectations, policies and procedures
• Steward the development of an Integrated Safety Plan for commissioning, including SIMOPS for all island and brownfield work
