Job summary

A prominent educational institution in Dubai is looking for a General Practitioner to serve as a University Doctor. The successful candidate will provide medical services, manage healthcare activities for the community, and ensure compliance with medical standards. The role requires a medical degree, valid DHA Eligibility Letter, and at least 2 years of experience in an educational institution.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic in-house emergency, first aid, and standard healthcare services to students, faculty, and staff.
• Respond to on-campus emergencies and collaborate with emergency services.
• Maintain high standards of medical upkeep and customer care for all AUE stakeholders.
• Offer medical consultations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe treatments.
• Refer patients to specialists and coordinate with healthcare providers.
• Conduct health screenings and vaccinations.
• Support the Health & Safety Team with orientation and onboarding related to health and safety.
• Conduct health education sessions and workshops promoting healthy lifestyles.
• Manage health & safety reports and administrative healthcare documentation.
• Assist with employee health insurance documentation.
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records.
