Job description

The Uniform Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end process of uniform distribution, maintenance, and organization. This includes ensuring the proper tracking, condition, and issuance of all employee uniforms using the designated system.

The Uniform Attendant plays a key role in maintaining professional standards, preventing inventory discrepancies, and ensuring that all uniforms meet company quality expectations.

Responsibilities / Duties

  1. Utilize the company’s Uniform Management System to log, track, and organize all uniform inventory, issuance, returns, repairs, and replacements. Ensure system records are updated in real time to prevent loss, shortages, and uniform-related issues.
  2. Thoroughly inspect all uniforms for damages, stains, missing buttons, or wear and tear before and after laundering. Arrange necessary repairs or replacements to maintain uniform quality standards.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records. Track the issuance and return of uniforms to prevent loss and ensure sufficient stock levels are maintained.
  4. Distribute clean, presentable uniforms to employees according to departmental allocations. Collect returned uniforms, inspect them, and update their status in the system.
  5. Prepare and submit daily laundry reports. Monitor the number of items laundered per staff member to ensure compliance with company policy and to control laundry costs.
  6. Ensure uniforms are properly organized, labeled, and stored in designated areas for easy retrieval.
  7. Address employee uniform needs promptly and professionally, providing excellent internal customer service to all departments.
  8. Adhere to company standards on uniform appearance, safety procedures, and confidentiality regarding employee information.
  9. Collaborate closely with the Senior Supervisor and team members to coordinate uniform requirements, resolve issues, and ensure seamless operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in laundry operations, hospitality uniform services, or inventory management is preferred.

Knowledge of uniform or laundry management systems is an advantage.

Job Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in using inventory management software or uniform tracking systems.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control.

Good organizational and time-management abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration.
