A leading financial institution is seeking an Underwriting Analyst/Associate to manage and analyze credit risk for its complex corporate client portfolio. The role involves conducting detailed credit assessments, producing credit approvals, and monitoring industry trends, ensuring comprehensive risk management practices. Underwriting (UW) is an integral part of the Institutional Credit Management (ICM) organization. UW's mandate is to deliver best-in-class credit risk analysis, monitoring, and credit administration as a partner to Corporate Banking and Risk, ensuring the safety and soundness of wholesale lending across Citi.
Underwriting Analysts and Associates are responsible for a portfolio of Corporate Relationships, owning the Credit Risk Analysis for those relationships, and continuously monitoring that portfolio. This includes producing Initial Credit Approvals, Transaction Approvals, Annual Reviews, Quarterly Reviews, and supporting Ad-Hoc Portfolio & Industry Reviews and Stress Testing.
