Join our Transport Planning team as an Undergraduate Transport Planner where you'll gain hands-on experience working on innovative projects that enhance urban mobility, sustainable transport solutions, and infrastructure development.

About the Role

As part of our Transport Planning team, you will contribute to major urban development and infrastructure projects across the Middle East. You will learn from the team in preparing Traffic Impact Studies, Multimodal Transport Master Plans, and Traffic Engineering solutions. The team specializes in Development Planning, Sustainable Travel, Road Safety, Pedestrian Modelling, and Public Transport Scheme Development/Appraisals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design Support: Assist in developing designs, calculations, sketches, and diagrams to support transportation planning projects.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare reports on transport modelling and planning.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with project teams, track milestones, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Technical Development: Learn and apply transport planning software such as Synchro, SIDRA, and GIS.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support communication with clients, local authorities, and internal teams to ensure project objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Pursuing a Civil Engineering Degree.
  • Expected Graduation: 2026 (final-year students).
  • GPA: Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.8 (or equivalent) to be considered.
  • Start Date: March 2025
  • Duration: 12 months from start date.
  • Eligibility: As part of AECOM's commitment to Emiratisation and in compliance with UAE labor law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
