Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Explaining sonographic procedures to patients and preparing patients for imaging.
• Ensuring clear images for diagnostic purposes and adjusting the sonographic equipment as needed.
• Selecting appropriate settings and patient positions.
• Monitoring and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Presenting sonograms and preliminary findings to physicians.
• Completing documentation and maintaining patient histories and medical records.
• Assisting physicians and healthcare teams during invasive procedures.
• Maintaining and cleaning sonographic equipment.
• Performing medical procedures such as administering oxygen and taking vital signs.
