Job summary

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital in Abu Dhabi is seeking a qualified Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in line with standards and regulatory requirements. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Radiology or Medical Imaging, plus a postgraduate qualification in sonography, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.

You will maintain accurate patient records and ensure safety and calibration of ultrasound equipment.

Qualifications

• Current clinical knowledge of radiology practices, industry trends and technologies.
• Evaluation of diagnostic sonograms, laboratory results, and patient history and medical records.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform sonography diagnostic examinations for patients in line with company standards and regulatory requirements

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A Bachelor's Degree in Radiology or Medical Imaging from an accredited institution

A post graduate qualification in sonography or ultrasound

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years' relevant experience in sonography

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Current clinical knowledge of radiology practices, industry trends and technologies
• Evaluation of diagnostic sonograms, laboratory results, and patient history and medical records
