Job summary

Mediclinic City Hospital in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, seeks a radiology professional to perform diagnostic ultrasound and radiographic procedures in line with hospital standards.

The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, a degree or diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound or Radiography, and strong English communication.

You will provide patient care, maintain records, and ensure safety and equipment calibration according to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Diagnostic ultrasound or Sonography, or Radiography/Radiology Technology.
• Post-primary certificate or diploma in Diagnostic Ultrasound.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant ultrasound or radiography experience.
• Proficiency in English communication and client service.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To perform radiographic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of patients in line with company standards and regulatory requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

Perform routine radiographic / ultrasound procedures within set guidelines and in accordance with regulatory requirements

Provide professional guidance, care and support to patients

Maintain patient records according to policy and statutory requirements

Ensure patient safety principles and practices are complied with in line with patient care standards

Ensure equipment calibration and maintenance functions are performed

REQUIRED EDUCATION

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Diagnostic ultrasound or Sonography or Bachelor's degree in Radiography or Radiology Technology or Medical Imaging and a post primary certificate or diploma degree in Diagnostic Ultrasound

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

At least 2 years relevant experience in the field of expertise

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Verbal and written communication skills in English
• Computer Literacy (Mircosoft)
• Client service principles and best practice
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards
