Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team for a 3-month, unpaid internship. In this role, you will work closely with our developers to design intuitive and engaging user interfaces. This opportunity is ideal for someone eager to apply their design skills in a startup environment, contributing to real projects while building an impressive portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather design requirements
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas
• Develop user-centric designs by incorporating usability, accessibility, and visual design principles
• Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to refine designs
• Contribute to maintaining and evolving our brand guidelines and design systems
• Iterate on designs based on feedback and performance data to enhance user satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous UI/UX design projects and creative problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Familiarity with responsive design and current design trends
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly
