Overview of the role:
As a Product Specialistwithin the FAMCO Truck Department, you will deliver professional, high-quality training and coaching for commercial vehicle drivers across our product range. Your role will be key in enhancing driver performance, promoting road safety, improving vehicle efficiency, and supporting FAMCO’s customer engagement and brand initiatives.

What you will do:

  • Deliver hands-on driver training and assessments for the FAMCO Truck and Bus product range.
  • Coach and guide drivers on proper usage of advanced vehicle technologies including Telematics, Advanced Driver Assist Systems, and engine/transmission retarders.
  • Support customer engagement initiatives including vehicle handovers, product launches, customer visits, and promotional campaigns.
  • Maintain and manage training schedules, keeping accurate records of all training activities.
  • Evaluate driver performance and develop actionable improvement plans for fleet customers.
  • Act as a brand ambassador by promoting FAMCO’s values and safety culture.
  • Conduct driver assessments across multiple transport sectors.

Required skills to be successful:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage schedules and documentation.
  • Technical understanding of commercial vehicles and manufacturer-specific technologies.
  • Strong coaching mindset and ability to give constructive feedback.
  • Familiarity with performance reporting and improvement planning.

About the team:

You will report directly to the Head of Truck and work closely with our team of drivers and customer-facing teams. You will be the go-to expert for enhancing driver capabilities and ensuring optimal vehicle performance and road safety.

  • What equips you for the role:
    Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving Trucks and/or Buses.
  • Minimum 2 years in a driver training or coaching role.
  • Certification in driver training from brands such as Volvo, Renault, or UD is highly preferred.
  • Native Arabic speaker with proficiency in English and Hindi/Urdu.
  • Basic mechanical or automotive technical knowledge
