Job summary

BRONZE HQ DISTRIBUTION AND TRADING FZE is seeking a VAT specialist in Dubai to support end-to-end VAT compliance for the group. You will back up VAT return workings, review daily VAT transactions, and assist in preparations while ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.

The role requires at least 2 years of UAE VAT experience, a relevant degree, and knowledge of GCC VAT. Proficiency in Power BI and tax software is beneficial for reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on VAT experience in the UAE.
• Bachelor's Degree in Tax, Accountancy, or related field.
• Up-to-date knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance.
• Knowledge of GCC VAT and experience in corporate tax.
• VAT Compliance Diploma.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in using tax-related software and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to changing regulations and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the VAT In-charge in end-to-end compliance.
• Maintain backup data, specifically VAT return workings.
• Review daily VAT transactions to enhance group compliance and assist in reviewing VAT preparations.
• Review tax recovery processes and address compliance issues.
• Assist the Finance team in interpreting VAT.
• Conduct VAT audits.
• Prepare and manage documents in line with VAT regulations.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboards for VAT reconciliations and reporting.
• Identify and execute other VAT projects as assigned.
