Job summary

BRONZE HQ DISTRIBUTION AND TRADING FZE is seeking a VAT specialist in Dubai to support end-to-end VAT compliance for the group. You will back up VAT return workings, review daily VAT transactions, and assist in preparations while ensuring accuracy and regulatory alignment.

The role requires at least 2 years of UAE VAT experience, a relevant degree, and knowledge of GCC VAT. Proficiency in Power BI and tax software is beneficial for reporting and analytics.

Job description

1. Assist the VAT In-charge in ensuring end-to-end compliance for the group.
2. Maintain backup data, specifically VAT return workings, in relation to all VAT compliances.
3. Review daily VAT transactions to enhance group compliance and assist in the review of VAT preparations.
4. Review tax recovery processes, ensure the implementation of such processes where applicable, and address any compliance issues.
5. Assist the Finance team in interpreting VAT.
6. Conduct VAT audits.
7. Prepare and manage all documents in line with VAT regulations and other related activities.
8. Possess in-depth knowledge of tax accounting and bookkeeping processes.
9. Hands-on experience in preparing, submitting, and following up on UAE VAT refund applications via the FTA portal, including reconciliation support, documentation compilation, and handling FTA clarifications.
10. Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, including reviewing and utilizing dashboards and reports for VAT reconciliations, data analysis, trend monitoring, and management reporting support.
11. Identify and execute other projects as assigned.
