The purpose of this role

This position involves using magnetic resonance and radiofrequency pulses, along with dynamic function imaging, to examine body and organ functions, delivering results to radiologists.

• Use evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines to produce high-quality images for various procedures.
• Be aware of safeguarding policies and implement them as needed.
• Assess clinical conditions, prioritize health issues, and initiate emergency care when necessary.
• Prepare patients for procedures, providing all relevant information beforehand.
• Manage own caseload, interpret test results, and refer to physicians as needed.
• Provide emergency care and attend annual resuscitation training.
• Authorize primary imaging referrals, ensuring procedures are justified, and escalate concerns as necessary.

The Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

  • MBBS or MBchB or equivalent from an accredited institution, with specialty qualification recognized by DHA, HAAD, or MOH UAE.
  • Experience and competence in Internal Medicine.
  • Effective communication skills with patients, families, and clinical staff.
  • Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic skills are an advantage.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • Peer-reviewed publications are a plus.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

  • Degree in Medical Imaging or Radiography.
  • Current DHA/HAAD/MOH licensure.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technician.
