Job summary

HSBC Group in Dubai, UAE, seeks an Analyst for the CIB International Mid-Market (IMM) team to support growing business and achieve targets. The role focuses on identifying product and service opportunities, conducting financial and credit analysis, and helping Relationship Managers prepare for client meetings.

The candidate will prepare proposals, coordinate with product partners, and ensure data and reports are updated timely while managing risk and AML/sanctions alerts.

Qualifications

• Strong analysis/understanding of financial statements.
• Relevant experience in an administrative role supporting a manager or team.
• Excellent planning skills with experience of working under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to use initiative.
• Advanced computer and IT skills, including all Microsoft packages.
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
• A full-time graduation degree of at least three years is essential for UAE visa and work permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Relationship Managers to optimise client relationships and deliver needs-based solutions.
• Attend client meetings with RM as necessary and act as first point of contact for daily credit-related enquiries.
• Prepare analysis, proposals and presentations for prospective customers.
• Support RM on day-to-day activities including client planning, pipeline management, coordination with product partners and data/call report updates.
• Undertake financial, credit and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with Group colleagues to deliver needs-based solutions for customers.
• Work closely with Service Delivery and coordinate end-to-end credit process; review deliverables and resolve issues.
• Monitor credit risk, including concern lists and credit control reports, and analyse management information.
• Provide ongoing risk monitoring in areas of Global Standards and AML & Sanctions alerts; act as escalation point for risk issue response.
