Job summary

HSBC is seeking an Analyst to join the CIB International Mid-Market team in Abu Dhabi. You will identify product opportunities, perform financial and credit analysis, and help prepare for customer meetings, while enabling proactive client management with Relationship Managers.

You will support day-to-day activities, coordinate with product partners, and ensure timely data updates, with a focus on risk monitoring and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Strong analysis/understanding of financial statements.
• Experience in an administrative role supporting a manager or team.
• Excellent planning skills under pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication.
• Proactive with initiative.
• Advanced computer and IT skills including Microsoft packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Relationship Managers to optimise client relationships.
• Attend client meetings with the RM as needed and handle daily credit inquiries.
• Prepare analysis, proposals and presentations for prospective clients.
• Assist RM with client planning, pipeline management and data updates.
• Undertake financial, credit and profitability analysis.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver needs-based solutions.
• Work with Service Delivery to coordinate end-to-end credit process and resolve issues.
• Monitor credit risk and analyze management information.
• Provide ongoing risk monitoring per Global Standards and AML/ sanctions alerts.
