Job summary

Chalhoub Group is seeking a Government Relations Associate to support licensing, permits, and regulatory approvals across the UAE. You will liaise with government authorities, municipalities, Civil Defence, and malls to ensure timely approvals and compliance.

The role requires office and field-based work with frequent travel across Abu Dhabi, Dubai and other Emirates, aligning with government authority operating times.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken, is essential.
• Experience in the private sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day government relations activities across UAE operations.
• Assist with licensing, permits, and authority approvals for stores and campaigns.
• Coordinate approvals, NOCs, and stakeholder documentation with government entities.
• Support the Legal team with contracts, notary requirements, and compliance records.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for permits, approvals, and compliance.
• Travel across Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and other Emirates as required.
