Job summary

MCG Talent is seeking a Senior Director / UAE Country Lead to launch and grow its strategic communications practice in Abu Dhabi. The role sits at the intersection of corporate reputation, public affairs, government communications, and executive positioning, with a focus on building a premier client portfolio.

You will establish the UAE operation, recruit a high-caliber local team, and shape the firm’s market profile while working closely with international leadership on regional opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant senior-level experience in strategic communications or public affairs.
• Well-established UAE network across government, Sovereign-linked entities, corporate and institutional leaders.
• Proven track record of winning and leading substantial client relationships.
• Experience leading teams, managing commercial performance and building a business or office.
• Arabic language capability is required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the UAE operation with Abu Dhabi as the primary market focus.
• Build trusted relationships with senior government and corporate leaders.
• Originate and convert new business, developing a sustainable pipeline of major client mandates.
• Advise senior clients on corporate reputation, strategic communications, and public affairs.
• Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing local team as the operation grows.
