Job summary

Tanqeeb in Dubai seeks a Corporate and Compliance Legal Assistant to own end-to-end company formation across UAE mainland, free zones and offshore registries, ensuring compliance throughout the life cycle.

You will manage KYC/AML onboarding, draft routine documents such as partnership agreements and board resolutions, liaise with authorities, and maintain audit-ready records while providing timely status updates to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in company formation, corporate services, or a legal assistant role.
• Hands-on knowledge of UAE mainland, free-zone, and offshore formation processes.
• Experience drafting resolutions and incorporation documents; exposure to shareholder agreements is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; ability to prepare Arabic corporate documents is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end company formation: name reservation, approvals, document prep, and license issuance across UAE jurisdictions.
• Manage corporate compliance: license renewals, amendments, UBO registers, ESR filings, statutory registers.
• Run internal KYC/AML onboarding checks, screening, document collection and conflict checks; escalate as needed.
• Draft partnership agreements, shareholder/board resolutions, powers of attorney, and incorporation docs.
• Liaise with authorities, registries, free-zone authorities, notaries; coordinate attestations and translations.
• Maintain formation and compliance trackers; keep files audit-ready and record time daily.
• Serve as first line for routine client queries on process status and escalations.
