Job summary
Our Client in the UAE seeks a capable Controls Engineer to lead design, implementation, and maintenance of industrial control systems. The role requires hands-on PLC, SCADA, and HMI work, with strong electrical and instrumentation knowledge. A UAE/GCC background is mandatory for this onsite position.
The successful candidate will collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely project delivery, with a focus on documentation and testing throughout the lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer in UAE or GCC.
- Strong PLC programming, SCADA and HMI configuration skills.
- Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Experience with industrial automation and system integration.
- Strong analytical and documentation skills.
- Based in the UAE with valid work rights.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial and mechanical applications.
- Programme, configure, and maintain PLCs, SCADA, and HMI panels.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.
- Prepare technical documentation including control system specifications, wiring diagrams, and commissioning reports.
- Identify and resolve control system faults and performance issues promptly.
- Ensure all control systems comply with UAE safety standards and regulatory requirements.
